Spotlight on Haiti - A benefit concert Saturday March 20, 2010

Since debuting onstage in 2008, Sole Pursuit has begun to leave their mark on the richly diverse music scene of Southeast Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans area. By combining several different styles of the rock genre, they have created a myriad of musical sounds that attracts an ever-increasing audience to such respectable venues as the House of Blues New Orleans, The Howlin' Wolf, and Tipitina's Uptown. In September 2008, Sole Pursuit asserted their commercial appeal by entering and winning Mountain Dew's "Last Band Standing" contest by receiving the most votes from listeners of the popular New Orleans radio station WEZB 97.1 FM, topping several other popular local artists to earn that distinction. They demonstrate their multifaceted approach to songwriting in their first full-length album, Peace & Harmony, which is set for release in January 2010. To promote this new record, Sole Pursuit will be scheduling live performances in 2010 throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast area.
